The Vermont Entomological Society is statewide organization dedicated to the discovery, enjoyment, study, and conservation of insects and other invertebrates.

Membership in VES is open to anyone. Professional entomologists, citizen naturalists, academics, researchers, families and children are among our members.

VES organizes regular field outings, including an annual winter pot-luck and an annual spring picnic and insect outing. We also offer and share our expertise in lectures and field outings for various community organizations and conservation groups.

The VES News, which appears quarterly, is how we communicate to members. We welcome contributions. Send them to Trish Hanson, our secretary and interim editor.
