The Vermont Entomological Society is statewide organization
dedicated to the discovery, enjoyment, study, and conservation of insects
and other invertebrates.
Membership in VES is
open to anyone. Professional entomologists, amateur naturalists, retired
professors, researchers, families and children are among our members.
VES organizes regular field outings, including an annual
winter pot-luck and an annual spring picnic and insect outing. We also
offer and share our expertise in lectures and field outings for various
community organizations and conservation groups.
The VES News, which appears
quarterly, is how we communicate to members. We welcome contributions.
Send them to Trish Hanson, our secretary and interim editor.
VES is always looking for fresh leadership and volunteers.
If you can contribute, please contact our interim president, Michael
